1. Who we are

CleanersMap (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website cleanersmap.org and related services (the “Platform”). The Platform is a location-first directory for ground cleaning businesses and people seeking local cleaning.

We do not employ cleaners, dispatch jobs, or set prices. Any cleaning arrangement is strictly between you and the operator you contact.

2. Account types

• Seekers (personal or business accounts) — browse the map, view operator profiles, and contact companies directly.
• Company owners — create a company profile, subscribe to a listing plan, and appear in search results when eligible.
• Administrators — internal platform management (not a public signup role).

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Directory only — not the cleaner

By using CleanersMap, you acknowledge and agree that:

• CleanersMap is a directory and discovery tool, not a cleaning company.
• We do not provide cleaning services and are not a party to any job or contract.
• We do not guarantee availability, pricing, workmanship, or how a job turns out.
• Companies listed on the map are independent businesses. Confirm scope, price, licensing, and insurance with them before you hire.

4. Map listings & subscriptions

A company appears on the public search map when it has an active listing subscription (Basic or Pro), a complete profile, verified email, and active listing status. See how listings work for details.

• Basic and Pro are paid monthly listing plans processed through Stripe. Fees are for directory visibility and platform features — not for the cleaning job or leads guaranteed.
• Plan badges indicate subscription tier, not a safety certification or government endorsement.
• We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before material price changes take effect.

5. Company owner attestations

When registering as a company owner, you must confirm that:

• You accept these Terms of Service.
• You operate a legitimate registered cleaning business.
• You maintain required licenses and commercial insurance for your operations.

These are your attestations. CleanersMap does not routinely review license documents or insurance certificates. False or misleading information may result in listing removal, account suspension, or termination.

6. Information accuracy

Profile content (company names, descriptions, contact details, service areas) is provided by users. We strive to keep the Platform reliable but do not warrant that any listing is complete, current, or error-free.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful, harassing, or deceptive purposes.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our systems without permission.
• Impersonate another person or business.
• Post false licensing, insurance, or location information.
• Circumvent access controls, subscription requirements, or contact visibility rules.

8. Email & communications

We may send transactional emails (verification codes, account notices, billing receipts) and, where you opt in or where permitted, informational emails such as weekly digests about operators near your area.

Marketing and outreach messages include unsubscribe options where required by law. You can manage some preferences from your account or by following unsubscribe links in emails.

9. Privacy & account deletion

We collect and use personal data to operate the Platform. Seekers may delete their accounts from Account → Profile. See our account deletion guide for all account types.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEANERSMAP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We are not liable for acts or omissions of listed operators, third-party payment processors, map/geocoding providers, or email delivery services.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CleanersMap and its operators, directors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or any service arranged with a listed operator.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to CleanersMap in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

12. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose fraud or safety risks, or harm the Platform or other users. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Subscription cancellation is handled through your billing settings and Stripe customer portal where applicable.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Company owners who registered with a terms attestation may be asked to re-accept on material updates.

14. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
